WECO STAY Service Operation Policy

The WECO STAY Service Operation Policy provides consistent guidelines for handling potential issues that may arise during accommodation and service use, and informs guests of specific details to be observed during their stay.

Reservation, Cancellation, and Refund Policy

  • - Changes and cancellations are only available for reservations made through the official WECO STAY website.
  • - For reservations made via Airbnb, Agoda, Booking.com, Trip.com, or other platforms, please follow the respective site’s regulations.
  • - Refund policy for reservations made on the WECO STAY website:

  • - Early check-out during the stay is non-refundable. (Partial refunds not available)
  • - For stays of 30 nights or more:

    ① Paid room charges are non-refundable.

    ② Accommodation fees up to the check-out date will be recalculated based on the standard rate.

    ③ A separate fee of KRW 3,000,000 (minimum sales loss compensation) will be charged.

  • - For room type or schedule changes, guests must cancel the existing reservation and make a new one. (100% refund if canceled 14 days before check-in; no partial refunds thereafter.)
  • - For room changes during the stay:

    ① Same or lower room type: KRW 50,000 service fee per change

    ② Higher room type (upgrade): KRW 50,000 service fee plus rate difference

Formation of Reservation

  • - A service contract is established when the user applies for a reservation in accordance with the procedures set by the company, and the company approves the application.
  • - The company may refuse a reservation in any of the following cases:

    ① When there is a shortage of available rooms

    ② When it is evident that the user may disrupt accommodation order

    ③ When there are other unavoidable reasons related to the company’s operations

Prohibited Activities in Rooms

  • - All rooms are strictly non-smoking. Violation will result in a KRW 200,000 penalty and immediate eviction. No refunds will be issued.
  • - Pets are not allowed. Violation will result in an additional cleaning charge of KRW 100,000-200,000.
  • - Bringing in hazardous materials such as flammable items or explosives is prohibited.
  • - Excessive noise or disruptive behavior after 10:00 PM is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in a KRW 200,000 fine, and continued noncompliance after one warning will lead to immediate eviction and cancellation without refund.
  • - Unauthorized extensions beyond check-out time will incur an additional charge equivalent to 1.5 times the normal room rate.

Occupancy Policy

  • - Each room accommodates a maximum number of guests, including adults and children.
  • - Overcapacity entry is prohibited. Unauthorized guests will incur an extra charge of KRW 20,000 per person per night, and excess guests will be asked to leave immediately.
  • - Guests under 19 years old must be accompanied by a legal guardian. The reservation holder is fully responsible for any legal or financial liabilities resulting from violation. If WECO STAY incurs business suspension or penalties due to such violation, the guest will bear all related damages.

Facilities and Room Equipment

  • - Guests are responsible for any damage or loss of in-room items, and compensation will be charged based on the actual replacement cost.
  • - Excessive contamination or failure to follow check-out procedures (e.g., leaving personal items, not disposing of waste properly) will incur an additional cleaning charge of KRW 100,000–200,000.
  • - WECO STAY is not responsible for loss of personal belongings.
  • - Room views, furniture layout, or decorations may differ from photos and are not valid reasons for a refund.

Check-in and Check-out

  • - WECO STAY operates a contactless self check-in system. Guests can check in by scanning the QR code inside the building using their reservation number.
  • - Check-in time: 16:00 / Check-out time: 11:00
  • - Early check-in or late check-out is subject to room availability and an extra charge of KRW 10,000 per hour (advance inquiry required).

Housekeeping Policy

  • - Rooms are cleaned once before check-in.
  • - Additional cleaning is available upon request as a paid service; please contact the local branch for assistance.

Luggage Storage

  • - Guests may use the luggage storage area at each branch.
  • - Free use is available on check-in and check-out days. For other days, an additional charge of KRW 5,000 per room per day applies.
  • - Please do not store cash, valuables, dangerous goods, animals, or perishable items.
  • - WECO STAY is not responsible for loss or theft.
  • - Items left unclaimed for 7 days or more without prior notice will be considered abandoned and disposed of accordingly.

Usage Restrictions

  • The Company may restrict the user’s access to the facilities or require the user to leave in any of the following cases:

    ① When the user violates applicable laws or these Terms and Conditions

    ② When the user infringes upon the safety or tranquility of others

    ③ When the user damages facilities, engages in threatening behavior, or otherwise interferes with normal operations
